A practical course for introducing simulation into company workflows
From the webinar series in collaboration with Vis Hydraulics, a step-by-step journey to understand how modeling and simulation work—ultimately leading to their integration into the company’s technical design workflow.
Part 1:
“From Geometry to Performance: Parametric Modeling of a Hydraulic Valve”
In the first session, we built and parameterized in real time the model of the VIS Hydraulics CVC.S08 control valve, validating its behavior and performance within a simple test bench—entirely virtually, with no physical testing required.
We demonstrated how changes in its geometric parameters directly influence overall system performance.
Part 2:
“From Design to Validation: Simulating and Analyzing a Complete Hydraulic System”
Turn a hydraulic schematic into a simulation-ready model and analyze its dynamic behavior across the entire operating cycle. Through an application case featuring VIS components, you’ll see how to identify design criticalities and evaluate alternative solutions directly through simulation—using animations and quantitative results.
Part 3:
“From the Engineering Office to the Test Bench: applying Simulation in-house”
You will learn how to integrate dynamic simulation into company workflows, from the engineering department to the test bench, to model components, test prototypes, and optimize processes.
Practical examples based on use at the Vis Innovation Center will be presented, highlighting both technical and organizational benefits, as well as how simulation makes design and validation phases more efficient.
Part 4:
“From Simulation to Optimization: Maximizing Performance and Energy Efficiency”
Turn simulation data into concrete design decisions, optimizing both performance and energy efficiency of a hydraulic system.
Through real-world case studies, you’ll see how to test and compare alternatives before physical implementation.
Part 5:
“From Idea to Practice: Introducing Simulation into Company Workflows “
Overcome the main barriers to simulation adoption with practical solutions—combining training, services, and support on real use cases. Discover how to integrate simulation into your workflow through ready‑to‑use models, simplified interfaces, and custom libraries—turning theory into real‑world application.
